THE TREEHOUSE
Better late than never. If, as a child, you didn't have a treehouse, as an adult you can now rent one at Airbnb. What a time to be alive!
When 16 years ago Pete decided to build a treehouse in his backyard, little did he know that years later that same treehouse would become Airbnb's most wished-for listing worldwide! Booking a couple of nights it's a mission but we finally did it and our stay at this Atlanta's retreat was something else!
The treehouse is located in Atlanta and as you can see is surrounded by vegetation. So even though your in the city, it really feels as if you were in the middle of the forest. The place is really quiet, and you won't listen to anything other than the sound of the woods.
The treehouse has 2 rooms and a deck. Everything is beautifully decorated. The main room is just dreamy not just because of the details but because of an amazing bed that rolls out so that you can sleep out in the open.
The room's decor is really vintage which makes it even more beautiful.
The treehouse also has a living room decorated with antiques. This room has little balcony and its the perfect place to read a book.
The third area is a little deck that surrounds a 150 year old pine tree.
The three areas are connected with rope bridges.
If the treehouse is amazing during the day wait until the night comes and the little lights light up the bridges. And then we you are ready to go to sleep and you turn off the lights, you'll be in a complete darkness listening to the trees and the animals.
Waking up there was one of the best parts of the treehouse. Tip: If you stay there change the pillows to the other side of the bed so that you wake up facing the woods. We didn't want to leave the treehouse for anything plus we wanted to have breakfast in bed so, guess what? We tried UberEats for the first time and they delivered our breakfast in 30min.
